Who is Ron Weasley ??? He is a member of the Weasley family and Harry Potter's best friend; a pure blood family that resides in "The Burrow" outside Ottery St. Catchpole. Being the only member of the three main characters raised in magical society, he also provides insight into the Wizarding World's magical customs and traditions. Along with Harry and Hermione, he is a member of Gryffindor house and is present for most of the action throughout the series. Product Highlights

Personality… a bit lazy and (at times) hot-headed, but also funny and intensely loyal. Ron is everything Harry could ask for in a best friend/sidekick, and he never hesitates to join Harry on a risky adventure. Though he might get jealous of Harry's fame and fortune, Ron never fails to support him.
However, for Ron Weasley, the time we see him truly terrified is when he sees the spiders scurrying away from the Petrified victims. Ron himself appears to be petrified by his overwhelming fear, often unable to move.
Weaknesses... being the youngest among six brothers, Ron often lacks self-confidence in his abilities. He feels that his accomplishments are not noteworthy because his older brothers have done so much. Even his younger sister, Ginny, seems to surpass him magically.
Ron's talent in Wizard's Chess allowed them to pass one of the obstacles protecting the stone, which was a life-sized game. Ron sacrificed himself as a game piece so Harry could place the enemy king in checkmate, allowing Harry and Hermione to move on.
We could venture and say that Ron Weasley is likely one of the top chess players in the wizarding world. We all remember how his talent allowed the trio to pass one of the obstacles protecting the Sorcerer's Stone; this accomplishment was praised by Dumbledore, too!
