There will be a competition to select the top archer in all the kingdom! Players compete for the honor while currying the queen's favor and thwarting those seeking to rob them of their rightful place. Be swift in assembling the three hallmarks of a great archer - the bow, the arrow and the heart! You'll need good judgement to weigh the odds, your strategic cunning to go for speed or purity, and bit of luck to see you through. Each successive round gets more tense as points are accumulated to determine the winner! Will you be crowned the King's Archer? King's Archer is played in a series of hands, with points awarded after each hand building towards the total that will win the honor of being knighted the King's Archer. Players build three numerical sequences from their hand - the archer's bow, archer's arrow, and archer's heart - laying them down on the table as they are achieved. Obtaining the queen's favor or finding a golden object help fulfill these tasks. Players can disrupt one another's sequences with thieves - stealing cards right out from underneath their opponents. Once the first player in a hand has built all three achievements, points are tallied. Sequences of all one color or without wild cards are more valuable. More sequences versus fewer count for something as well.
