The details of the Roellinger mill are inspired by seafaring equipment and yacht winches, because spices are flavors that have travelled across the oceans. Evoking both the traditional Peugeot mills and the practice of sailors, operating this model calls for a classic cranking motion. Grind large quantities of pepper and catch them all in the hollowed out tray at the bottom of the mill.
